Hall read for the Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics major) at the University of the West Indies and has since spent over twenty years in the investment industry including nine years managing the investment portfolios of large pension funds. He rose to the position of assistant vice president - investments of one of the then largest life insurance companies in the Caribbean.

Howard P. Hines is a fully qualified actuary, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (Washington DC) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, with over twenty years experience in all forms of insurance, pensions as well as risk management. He holds a first degree in Special Mathematics (Honors) and a masters’ degree in Stochastic Modeling from The University of the West Indies where he was both an undergraduate and postgraduate scholar. He was also awarded the Society of Actuaries worldwide prize in Mathematics.

Samuel Ewart Phillips, a Jamaica Scholar, read the Mathematical Tripos at Cambridge University and they awarded him the Master of Arts degree. He has spent over thirty years in the insurance industry, both here in Jamaica and in England where he commenced his career with The Prudential, England’s largest life insurance company who manage the UK’s second largest pension portfolio.
